We’ve all had afternoon when we just don’t want to do anything else than take a good long nap. Unfortunately we don’t always have the opportunitie to be able to do so. Slow afternoons aquire some good snacks. I love to prepare healthy snacks and place them in my fridge for later, and occasions like this.
Take your favorite veggies and cut them in pieces, I usually use carrot, cucumber and/or celery. Store them in a container in the fridge. Meanwhile make the hummus, and put it next to the vegetables. Then your’re ready when your energy level starts to go down and you need something to snack on quickly.
Chickpeas, about 400 gram
Neutral oil, 1-2 tbsp
Spiskummin, 1/2 tsp
Tahini, 1-2 tsp
Garlic, 2 cloves
Lemon, squeeze the juice out of app half a lemon
Salt, half a tsp
I’m not that good at measuring my ingredients, because I always put little by little in there and then I adjust by tasting it. So you might want to add more or less of some of the ingredients.
Place the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Dip your vegetables in the magnificent hummus and enjoy your afternoon!
